Thank you for everything, Ramón!

Ramón Bassa, emeritus senior lecturer retires from his professional life this year 2018, after 50 years dedicated to teaching. Ramón was a teacher since 1968, he graduated in Philosophy and Letters (Pedagogy Section) by the University of Barcelona in 1975, and obtained his PhD in Educational Sciences by the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) in 1989. Since 1993 he is Professor of the Univesity School/University Headline and emeritus Headline Professor (TU) in the field of Scholar Didactics and Organization in the Department of Applied Pedagogy and Educational Psychology from the UIB. During his professional career he also became director of the Linguistic Services (2003-2011).

Among the awards and recognitions he received we find the Seminar on Didactics from the ICE of the UIB, the Baldiri Reixac award (OC 1983) and the Emili Darder award (OCB 1992). His line of work and research has focused on linguistic habilities didactics, Catalan, infantile and youth literature and educational history (XXth century).
