The newspaper “El Mundo” echoes the last article published by our research group on how the use of new technologies influences language children. The results, published in the scientific journal «Children», show that pre-teens who had more access to digital devices, and who used them more often, while speaking less with their parents were those who had the most impoverished language. Also, we show that using technological devices for non-scholar or educative purposes is strongly associated with impoverished objective language outcomes.
