Manual on the neuropsychological evaluation of language.

PhD. Eva Aguilar writes a chapter on oral language difficulties which is included in the manual “Evaluación Neuropsicológica del Lenguaje”. Within this manual every chapter is dedicated to a specific aspect of language (oral and written language comprehension and production, prosody, pragmatics…) and the theoretical models on them coming from cognitive psychology. Thus, in every chapter the cognitive models that better explain the information processing that implies each aspect of language are described, as well as the disorders that arise when this processing is altered, the tasks and standardized tests used to evaluate every language aspect and one or two clinical cases that exemplify it.

This manual has been conceived for students and professionals in the field of neuropsychology and speech therapy, but also, in a more general way, for any health professional interested in language disorders and their evaluation.
